Mothers In Charge Honoring Men In The Community, "Men Making A Difference" Dinner Dance

On July 29, 2012 Mothers In Charge honored men in the community, "Men Making A Difference" Dinner Dance. We felt it was important to honor those who has taken time out of there busy schedule and family life to help out and give back to others at no cost to them but time. Being apart of an organization that evolved because of young lives being lost to the senseless violence. We find it to be very important to say thank you when ever we can,  you never know when it will be the last time you get that chance. We get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life and not being considerate or conscious that some one took time out of their day to try and help save another young man from being killed. The men that we honored are as tired as we are of seeing three to four murders a day, a week. As the saying goes, "If you don't stand for something you will fall for anything". Well they are standing and standing tall, not just for their own children, but for the neighbors child, and the children that don't have any one to stand up for them.

To the honorees Mothers In Charge,
Thank You !
